Varsity Head Coach. Coach Manny Varela comes to Boise High from Borah high school where he coached for nine years. He learned from one of the all-time coaches, Cary Cada. At Borah, he served as the JV Head Coach and as a Varsity Assistant. Coach Varela was part of 7 consecutive trips to the state tournament while coaching at Borah.

I'd say Boise High from both personal experience going there and national standards. Statistically, we're higher than any other high school I Boise as far as academics. The culture there is great too. Amazing mix of people with all walks of life. The north-end is a nice place to both and go to school. Definitely recommend Boise High!
